Reclink Fremantle Community Cup 2021
What to expect
The Reclink Australia Community Cup is back.
Reclink Australia is thrilled to announce that the most talked about and iconic event on the community calendar – The Reclink Australia Community Cup – is back in 2021. The Fremantle Reclink Community Cup is on Sunday, October 10.
This year’s theme, ‘Talking to a stranger’ by the Hunters & Collectors, is inspired by community connection and this is echoed through the Reclink Australia Community Cup events.
The Fremantle Reclink Community Cup promises another great day of community, fundraising, music, and of course grassroots footy, as the The Bandgropers (musicians) take on the Newshounds (media).
“We look forward to seeing you all at the return of the Reclink Community Cup for an exciting day of grassroots footy, and music. Thank you for your ongoing support.” Sarah Kitis, Reclink Australia State Manager, Western Australia.
While footy is the star on the day of the Cup, the event is just as renowned for its incredible bill of pre-match, half-time, and post-match bands, with performances from some of the nation’s most beloved artists for both little and big kids alike.
We are thrilled to announce that Frank’s Fish Tank, Last Quokka, and Pat Chow will be a part of this year’s line-up.
The Community Cup is an incredibly fun day full of family-friendly entertainment, the incredible football match itself augmented by live music from a host of local bands and artists as well as bars, food trucks, and a relaxed atmosphere that emphasises community and team spirit.
The Reclink Community Cup provides a valuable contribution to Reclink’s annual fundraising efforts. With your generous support, we can bridge the gap of funding lost in 2020 and continue to support our local communities through Reclink’s programs.
Reclink’s structured sport, art, and recreation programs improve life outcomes for those experiencing mental illness, family violence, homelessness, social isolation, gambling harm, unemployment, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Our programs are needed now more than ever with the ongoing effect of COVID on our communities, helping to keep people connected and supported.
So get amongst it this October!
