Cliché to say it but I represent the school of life, constantly learning from the people I meet and experiences I have. I dropped out of University studying a degree in Nutrition to focus on exploring my true passion for life. After many years damaging many brain cells in Ibiza I found myself completely in love with music. The diversity of emotion and feeling attached to every piece of music made really does provide the most beautiful soundtrack to life. I’m still exploring and my ears are still widely open, long may this love and affinity for music continue.
How did you become involved in the station?
I met Willy Slade at FLOW festival where we shared a Cacao ceramony under the stars and downward dogged into the earths vibrations or we tore up the dance floor playing B2B for 5 n a half hours or so, honestly I can’t remember I was pretty ZEN.
But we became mates and one thing led to another…
If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?
Realistically that’s too hard to answer isn’t it…. HOWEVER
I’m not going to mars without any music so,
1. Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of The Moon
2. Air – Moon Safari
3. Elton John – Honky Château (just for Rocket man of course)
4. David Bowie – The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars
5. Atmosfear – Dancing In Outer Space
What is the best thing about being involved in the station?
Honestly it’s got to be having a platform to share music with everybody and of course the awesome people involved with making community radio what it is.
What is the strangest thing that has happened to you at RTRFM?
I’d tell you but I’d have to kill you
If you could present a show other than your own, which would it be and why?
Global Rhythm Pot would be bloody marvellous to present, I could get all my hidden funky gems out and start trekking round the world.
What do you do in real life?
I’m a kindergarten teacher, Jam Factory maker at the Ruff Jams HQ and I work on a project called Word of Mouth.
