How did you become involved?
I always listened to RTR growing up. It was always the go to station for me I guess. I loved how I would hear some of my friends on the radio and know that they would introduce me to something I’ve never heard before. By the time I finished school I had collected allot of music and felt I had something to share. So I did the RTR course and started doing Uplates and Snooze buttons. I think the main reason I became involved is because of that feeling of showing someone a record and them feeling the same way you do about it, I think it’s a beautiful connection.
If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?
What is the best thing about being involved with the station?
The best thing is sharing music with people. Whether they be friends that happen to be listening or strangers, that’s what it is about.
What is the strangest thing that has happened to you in the RTRFM studio?
One time this dude rang up saying that he was loving the show so much that he would bring some donuts to the studio. I felt like some donuts at the time and he really came through. We yarned for a while about music and then he left. That made my night.
If you could present a show that is not your own, which show would it be? Why?
I would love to present Soulsides. I can listen to soul orientated music in any mood.
What do you do in real life?
In real life I study music. For money I work at the hospital and work in a bar.
