Currently working in Perth as a Concrete Placement Technician (Concrete Truck Driver) Love travelling overseas, Blues Music, Golf and life in general. Have been involved with the music industry as a presenter of a number of shows on different stations in Perth but really enjoy RTRFM and the opportunity to play my favorite albums and artists. Have been Vice President of the Perth Blues Club and still get down there when work allows. MC at a number of festivals around Australia including mainly Bridgeton for the last 12 years.
How did you become involved in the station?
Was presenting a program Saturday afternoons on another station and was approached by Tim Walker (Ghost who walks) and went from there.
If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?
- Pink Floyd Wish you were here
- Joe Bonamassa (anything)
- Supertramp (anything)
- Kenny Wayne Shepherd 10 Days Out (Blues from the South)John Hammond Junior
What is the best thing about being involved in the station?
The freedom to play whatever I want and introduce new artists to the listeners, also the feedback I get when on air.
What is the strangest thing that has happened to you at RTRFM?
Having Corey Harris fall asleep while I was interviewing him “Live” in the studio, I must explain that he had just arrived a matter of hours before after flying in from America.
If you could present a show other than your own, which would it be and why?
Sunday Morning coming down, I feel I would have the necessary material to get peoples Sunday off to a great start.
What do you do in real life?
As above, work, play and live life to the maximum.
