From one of my all time favourite albums, Emit Ecaps, this track was released all the way back in 1996. Spacetime Continuum was the alias of Jonah Sharp who ran the superb Reflective Records. Somewhat curiously this album was released on New York label Astralwerks rather than Jonah’s own label.
Reflective Records releases were often packaged in reflective cardboard sleeves that were then screen printed. The vinyl labels also often featured holograms. One of Reflective’s most unusual releases was Dead Vent 7 by Single Cell Orchestra. The album was essentially a radio drama set in deep space and was another example of the label stretching the boundaries and just releasing things they loved.
