Youth Ambassadors Representing a Change for Children In Detention.

ChilOut, an organisation dedicated to releasing children out of detention centres, have announced nine new Youth Ambassadors, many who are also former child detainees and refugees.

Protection of children, a right to education, healthcare and freedom are major focuses for the group.

Sarah Yahya was born in Iraq, belonging to a minority religion. Due to intensified persecution of minotiries, Sarah fled Iraq in 2000 with her young sister and mother. She was only five when she arrived in  Jordan, lived there for almost seven years awaiting a visa from the UN to Australia...
