300 Years of Ocean Temperatures lead to New Outlook on Climate Change

Newly released research from UWA’s Oceans Graduate School and Oceans Institute, has found that the world may be warmer than previous studies have thought.

The team says that the earth may be up to 0.5°C warmer and if current rates of emission stay then we are set to cross the 2°C benchmark by the late 2020s.

Lead author Emeritus Professor Malcolm McCulloch, joined the show to talk more about the findings.
