‘A Penny For Your Thoughts’: PMH Time Capsule

Tuesday 13th October / posted by Will Backler

Princess Margaret’s Children’s Hospital has been part of Perth’s history for over 109 years. During that time, it has touched the lives of many West Australian families by helping put young kids back on the mend.

Despite closing its doors in 2018, the legacy of PMH will live on with Development WA’s ‘A Penny For Your Thoughts’ Time Capsule.

West Australians around the world are invited to share their stories and experiences of PMH which will be stored as ‘virtual pennies’ that will be uncovered in another 109 years.

Development WA’s Chief Operating Officer, Dean Mumford, and Anne Bourke, past Director of Nursing at PMH and current President of the Children's Hospital Alumni, talked to On The Record's Jesse Begley to discuss the project and the history of Princess Margaret’s Hospital.

You can submit your virtual pennies on Development WA's website.
