Annual Silent Domestic Violence March

Tuesday 22nd November / presented by Coel Healy

Domestic Violence is a enormous problem in Australia, with both State and Federal governments responding to the issue.

Despite this, homicides associated with domestic violence continue to rise in WA, with 18 people being killed this year alone.

The Women’s Council for Domestic and Family Violence Services is holding a march this Friday at the Supreme Court Gardens, to honour those who have lost their lives.

We were joined by Women’s Council for Domestic & Family Violence Services Chief Executive Officer Angela Hartwig to discuss the march
