Art Centre or Haunted History

Friday 9th August / presented by Graeme Watson

Knowing about the dark past of the Fremantle Arts Centre, would you stay there for a weekend?

In the name of artistic inspiration two local artists, David Brazier & Kelda Free as well as WA symphonic blackened death metal band caled Advent Sorrow did exactly that.

Their research didn’t stop there as the group also joined forces with a renowned medium, historians, and a team of paranormal investigators to gain an insight into the buildings dark past as an asylum.

As a result, Advent Sorrow who usually “draw inspiration from themes of isolation, fear and haunting” have written a track about the gruesome history, with the album artwork constructed by Brazier & Free.

With no signs yet of the need for exorcisms, artists David and Kelda join Graeme with more on the project.
