Art is Not Free

Wednesday 14th November / presented by Ben Ainslie

Tomorrow evening, the University of Notre Dame hosts the annual National Tertiary Education Union lecture, this year hosted by David Williamson.

Australia’s leading playwright, David is the man behind renowned plays The Removalists and Don’s Party.

He has a long list of achievements for his work and in 1983 was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia.

Sticking to the theme of the annual lecture, David’s lecture will reflect on higher education, with a unique focus on creative arts.

David will argue the case for greater funding and institutional support.

David spoke with Ben Ainslie this morning.
