Arts Access Australia’s Campaign to Close the Gap

Tuesday 5th March / presented by Teri Campbell

Artists with disability are currently earning 42% less than artists without disability - in 2008, the gap was 9%.

Arts Access Australia held a Pre-Election Forum in Fremantle on 26 February where members of the Liberal Party, Labor Party, Greens and the Arts Party discussed their plans to support artists with disability.

The forum was live-streamed around Australia and is part of AAA's wider campaign to close the gap, which has just been launched.

Arts Access Australia CEO Meagan Shand spoke to RTRFM about this initiative.
