A local researcher has been awarded a prestigious medal for her work in radio astronomy.

Associate Professor Natasha Hurley-Walker from the Curtin University node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Nancy Millis Medal.

The award recognises her incredible work in mapping the universe in radio colour, discovering mysterious new space signals and for her outstanding contribution to research and leadership as a woman in science.

Associate Professor Natasha Hurley-Walker joins Fiona Bartholomaeus, On the Record.
