Austin’s Finest

Wednesday 2nd August / posted by Rhian Todhunter

Texas musician Austin Leonard Jones crafts lo-fi alt country pop songs, taking influence from the likes of Minutemen’s D. Boon, The Grateful Dead, and New Zealand jangle pop act The Clean.

Inspired by the DIY punk movement, Austin has self-released 7 albums since 2010, as well as re-issuing some classics on his label, Del Rio Records and Tapes.

Austin and his band are currently on Tour around Australia before heading to New Zealand for some shows, and joined Nelson Clegg on Out To Lunch.
