Ben Catley: roots on the road

Friday 3rd August / presented by Osric Powell

Ben Catley's unique blend of roots, blues-rock, is well known for the lively, foot stomping energy he generates on stage.

Having just finished a New Zealand tour and supporting Pierce Brothers, Tijuana Cartel, Ash Grunwald and more, WA's Ben Catley is having another hectic year on the road. Before taking off to play UK and east coast Aus festivals, Ben has released new single RABBIT HOLE. The track is full of feel-good high energy, embodying WA coastal life, while acknowledging that even when everything can seem ideal, struggles can still be real. Recorded in Perth with Lance Robinson (Karnivool, 360) and mastered by Joe Carra (King Giz, Tash Sultana) it is the first single from Ben's forthcoming EP, HECTIC HEART.

Ben joined Osric Powell in the studio to talk touring and play some of his music.
