Online data: we use it, we produce it.

Everything you do online leaves a trace, and increasingly, those traces are being collected and sold. This can help governments create policy, help scientists solve problems, help companies sell us things, and even help to fight crime.

But how can we ensure the data we produce doesn't come back to bite us?
