Binoculars to . . . Binoculars from . . .

Friday 13th September / presented by Graeme Watson

Peer through a set of large binoculars at Fed Square and see locations from around the globe in real time. Binoculars will be set up in a selection of iconic locations in countries from around the globe. People in these countries will be able to see Fed Square in Melbourne and you, in Melbourne, will be able to view a panorama of their location. At the same time, each pair of eyes peering into the binoculars will appear on large screens at these iconic locations including Fed Square’s Big Screen. As part of an artistic project by European artists Varvar Guljajeva & Mar Canet Sola, the installation will give you a surreal experience of time and space. On the phone today we had Creative Projects Manager Renee Dudfield.
