Budget Cuts made at Aboriginal Communities Expense

"Close the Gap" is a government strategy / initiative aiming to reduce disadvantages among the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities; respectively focusing on life expectancy, child mortality, access to early childhood education, educational achievement, and employment outcomes within those communities.
