Callout for Blak + Black Speculative fiction

Monday 29th June / posted by Danae Gibson

Unlimited Futures:Speculative, Visionary Blak + Black Fiction is a new collaboration between Djed Press and Fremantle Press that seeks  to encourage First Nations and Black writers to imagine shared futures through the medium of speculative fiction, creating space within the publishing world for folk to explore and experiment with genre writing.

Set for release in 2021, the project is now seeking submissions via Fremantle Press.

Editor and writer Rafief Ismail joined Bec Bowman on Artbeat to chat about the importance of Own Voices projects, and how writers can get involved.
