Change to Copyright Law Supports Disability Services

Friday 23rd June / presented by Annie Morris

Recently a new bill was introduced to parliament, processing the change for copyright laws which ultimately makes it easier for big businesses to access Australian art freely...we've now seen an amendment to the bill that hopefully will make it easier for disability services and important cultural institutions to access copyright material, while still preserving the integrity of the Australian artist.

Tamara Winikoff is the Executive director of The National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) and she spoke with Artbeat to discuss this recent amendment.
