Claire G. Coleman revisits the old lies

Tuesday 3rd September / presented by Bec Bowman

Following the critical acclaim of her first novel, Terra Nullius, Claire G. Coleman reaffirms her place as 'Australia's Margaret Atwood' with her new novel, The Old Lie.

Returning to the sci-fi genre, The Old Lie draws upon Claire's family history and the experience of Noongar and other First Nations people during WWII.

Claire joined Bec Bowman on Artbeat last week where she talked about the histories and injustice that influenced the novel, and the importance of self-determination in literature.
