Climbing the Mountain

Five-piece psych rock band, Black Mountain, released their fourth album this year, after a six year absence.

IV is loaded with sprawling atmospherics and massive riffs.

On Saturday October 8th they play at the Rosemount Hotel, prior to that guitarist Stephen McBean caught up with Caitlin.

Caitlin asked him about the origins of the album’s opening track “Mothers of the Sun”.
