Confessions Of A Pyromaniac

Monday 7th July / posted by Chris Wheeldon

Imagine a brother who wants to reconnect with his sister and family’s past, a girlfriend who wants to ignite their relationship but is lost in translation, and finally a sister who wants a fresh start but is followed by her pyromaniac past.

This is just touching the surface of the captivating story of the theatre production, Confessions of a Pyromaniac.

The performance follows the journey of Karla, her brother Yabu, and his girlfriend Brooke, who are all trying to create a new life and escape the remains of a dark past.

Confessions of a Pyromaniac is produced in association with Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company and is showing as part of NAIDOC Week.

Visiting the studio earlier this morning to talk more about the upcoming production is Confessions of a Pyromaniac writer, was Matt Cooper, and actress, Stephanie Somerville.
