Constant Craven

Thursday 3rd September / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

How were you introduced to Wes Craven?

Was it through his notoriously brutal 1970s film debut Last House on the Left?

Or the fantastically horrific character of his own creation: Freddy Krueger?

Maybe it was hiding in a sleeping bag at a high school sleepover while a cloaked, masked killer stalked a group of ’90s Hollywood stars in Scream?

Wes Craven was a maestro of the horror genre who terrified us for generations, but we lost him to cancer recently at the age of 76.

Local film writer Travis Johnson joined Breakfast with Caitlin to look back at Craven’s legacy.
