The Politics of Porn

Wednesday 29th May / presented by Peter Barr

As we speak the Mayor of Toronto is in a world of trouble. He’s a pretty big deal in Canada – a political figure of power and influence.

And he’s been filmed smoking crack. CRACK! That’s a huge step up from taking a toke on a joint or even making a mess in the Oval Office.

What’s Mayor Rob Ford to do?

Dr Tim Gregory is Lecturer in Theory at Curtin University and a researcher at the Centre for Contemporary Art and Politics – he’s published and exhibited widely on the nexus of pornography and politics.

He might have advice for Mayor Ford before his presentation tonight called ‘Pornographic Politics’
