Corbelle & Sgt. Hulka – Songs That Heal

Monday 25th November / presented by Taylah Strano

The Grand Finals of Listen Up's Songwriting Competition kick off this Thursday with three WA acts making the trip across to Sydney in an effort to take home 'The Songwriting Prize' for 2019.

Electronic duo Corbelle, local band Sgt. Hulka and songwriter Brandon Poletti are among the finalists that have submitted songs following the theme of 'songs that heal'.

Naomi Smith from Corbelle and Kirsty Hulka from Sgt. Hulka joined Breakfast with Taylah to chat about how they approached writing songs about a topic such as mental health and what else they've been up to recently.
