Cycling Network Infrastructure Announced

Tuesday 5th September / presented by Annie Morris

Once again cycling has become a topic of interest, but this time it's because of the government's involvement.

Yesterday it was announced that the McGowan Government will be investing 129 million dollars into many new projects to help improve the state's Cycling Network.

This funding will help increase cycling infrastructure across Perth, with the money going towards an extension of at least 95km of cycling path, new paths along major road projects, and 29 million dollars in grants for local governments.

CEO of West Cycle, Matt Fulton called into The Mag to tell us more about what this means for communities.

Produced with the assistance of the Department of   Communications and the Arts via the   Community Broadcasting Foundation. Find out more at  www.cbf.org.au.
