Effects of Erotica

Tuesday 29th January / presented by Teri Campbell

Pornography has always been quite divisive in the wider community, with many people concerned with the depiction of sex on film.

However with the increased use and spread of the internet, pornography has become much more accessible  to the wider public.

A recent study by porn education organisation Reality and Risk found that more than 90 percent of boys and 60 percent of girls have seen online porn, and that 88 percent of the most popular porn includes physical aggression.

RMIT senior lecturer Meghan Tyler joined RTRFM to tell us more about pornography's possible effects and its prevalence.
