Every Family Has A Secret

Tuesday 2nd July / presented by Tom Reynolds

SBS documentary Every Family Has A Secret, playing tonight, will show two Australian women exploring the truths behind their adoptions.

One of the stories is about WA journalist and Telethon general manager Marie-Anne Keefe searching for her biological father.

Though she knew always knew she was adopted, it was not until she was 25 that laws allowed her to put her name on a contact register, wherein she got into letter contact with her mother, Fran Ryan, who sadly died in a car accident before they could meet face to face.

Marie-Anne Keefe joined RTRFM to discuss the show and her role in it, including the tip that spurred her search for her father.
