Exit / Exist

Friday 10th February / presented by Coel Healy

Gregory Maqoma is a leading South African choreographer and dancer.

He brings his mesmerising fusion of traditional African and contemporary music and dance to this year’s Perth International Arts Festival with Exit / Exist.

The live music and dance collaboration pays homage to Maqoma’s ancestry in this ritualistic celebration of spirit and resilience.

Alongside the Viyani Quartet, Maqoma joined Coel Healy on The Mag to explore the intersection of dance and race in his work.
