Father of the Lost Boys

Yuot A. Alaak's memoir Father of the Lost Boys recounts the extraordinary tale of his father, Mecak Ajang Alaak, a community leader who assisted many young boys displaced by the Second Sudanese Civil War to safety, protecting them from becoming child soldiers.

Father of the Lost Boys was shortlisted for the TAG Hungerford Award in 2018, and is available now fromFremantle Press.
