Federal Budget 2017 Review

Wednesday 10th May / presented by Paul Hunt

The wait is finally over, the Federal Budget is out and it’s taken some of us by surprise.

Before yesterdays reveal, the budget was already facing some controversy including, an increase in student university fees and a restructure of schools funding to a needs based model.

But does the budget address other issues like housing affordability , the medicare rebate freeze and changes to welfare?

2SER journalist Myles Houlbrook-Walk spoke to Paul Hunt about these developments.
