FITTER | HAPPIER: Aboriginal Community Health Programs

Thursday 24th October / presented by Jorja Keay

In Western Australia, Aboriginal people experience significantly shorter life expectancies and higher rates of chronic disease than non-Aboriginal people.

Though Aboriginal community health programs exist, lobbying exists to increase their support and longevity.

East Metropolitan Health Service Aboriginal Community and Population Health team manager Selena West and Aboriginal health liason officer Chillton Yarran joined RTRFM to discuss Aboriginal services available today and services hoped to be made available in the future.
