FITTER | HAPPIER: Obesity, Diabetes & Tips for Healthy Living

Everyone knows the key to good health is eating a healthy balanced diet and doing regular physical activity, yet recent surveys have discovered that fully grown Western Australian's are not so much living by that rule.

One study has found out that more than two-thirds of adults living in Western Australia are overweight or obese and regarding the intake of eating at least an average of five or more serves of vegetables within an average day (as is recommended by health professionals) only 12% of those adults in W.A reported in doing so.

Another study revealed that 36% of adults in W.A. weren’t getting the recommended time limit of two & a half hours minimum of recommended moderate physical activity per week, as is also recommended among health professionals.  On top of all that there are so many more health problems being overweight can lead to.
