Tattoos and other body piercings are the most popular forms of body art in W. A, so it would make sense for on today’s segment of FITTER | HAPPIER we would look into the issues and safety concerns surrounding Body Art, Body Piercing, Tattoos, and other forms of body art such as branding, scarification, dermal anchors and beading.

Though whatever the reason for your choice of body art, it’s important to be clear about the reasons why you’re getting it done, just as it is also important to being correctly informed about knowing how and where to get your body art done, so as to minimise the risk in harming your health.

Scientific Officer for the city’s Department of Health and it’s Environmental Health Team is Jaala Downes; and she joined us on The Mag today to help inform us more about topics such as these…
