FITTER | HAPPIER: The Risks of Alcoholic Intake…Ahhh MKAAY, You’re at it again.

Thursday 1st March / posted by Chris Wheeldon

The more you drink, especially the more often you drink, the more likely it is you may experience an alcohol-related disease.

It doesn't matter if you drink regularly, or if you encounter just one singular night on alcohol, you can and are at the risk of disease.

For those who drink, it's been recommended keeping your alcohol in-take/consumption under the national guidelines is an important and pivotal part in building a healthy lifestyle for ones-self.

Julia Stafford comes from behalf of The McCusker Centre for Action on Alcohol and Youth, and she joined us in the studio to talk more on the issues that surround alcoholic-intake and disease...

*The staff at RTRFM would like to add that there are services available  if you or anybody you know is or may be at risk of encountering a problem with alcohol. On-line services are the Alcohol Think Again website, or you can also contact the Alcohol and Drug Support Line -for free- on 9442 5050*
