Flick Dear, Gretta Little and Sascha Ion chat their post-Butternut musical projects ahead of gig

For a brief time in the mid 90’s, WA locals were fortunate enough to hear from a local supergroup Butternut, which featured Flick Dear from Wooden Fische, Sascha Ion from Spank, and Gretta Little from the Rosemary Beads.

Decades on, Flick Dear, Sascha Ion and Gretta Little have continued to work on musical projects separately, which they will bring together for a show at Lyric’s Underground on Friday, February 24. Each of the former bandmates will perform with their current bands — Gretta with Little Things, Flick with Dusk and Sacha with her newly formed Sascha Ion and the Elements.
