Ghost Town?

Tuesday 6th February / posted by Chris Wheeldon

Is Perth dead? With vacancy rates in the CBD at close to 20% does the City need to look beyond office workers and visitors to bring life back into the city. With an estimate 13 billion dollars of infrastructure committed to projects in the city, including Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square, will the investments be void if people are not there to enjoy.

John Carey MLA is passionate about Activating Perth and bringing life back into the CBD and making it somewhere people want to visit and businesses want to set up.

Paul Hunt caught up with the local member for Perth to discuss breathing life back into our CBD.
