Girl on the Radio

Australian indie-pop singer Laura Jean joined Emily over the phone for Out to Lunch, to talk all about her new single; Girls on the TV. After releasing her fifth album last year, Devotion, and having gained the singer Lorde as a fan, this new track of hers deals with the teenage experience; particularly relating to love. Laura also gives us the details behind her tours and other aspects of her busy lifestyle.

We get an insight into her creative process, and how her ideas take shape. After having received another 'wave of inspiration', we may be able to expect more music in the near future.

Laura delves into her personal growth, as well as the direct nature of her lyrics in Girls on the TV. She discusses the differences between music scenes in various places, and is excited to be back in Perth with our stellar bands.
