David Stratton’s Great Britain Retro Film Festival

Tuesday 23rd June / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

He has been away from our screens for just over six months, but there’s no stopping David Stratton.

The film critic and small screen veteran is back: he has curated the inaugural Great Britain Retro Film Festival.

It features 19 classic English movies spanning 75 years. Some fully restored and being shown on the big screen in Australia for the very first time.

From the suspense of the 1949 classic The Third Man, to the thrills of Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire and the extravagance of The Red Shoes.

It comes to the Windsor Theatre in August and Caitlin caught up with David on Breakfast.
