Her Fidelity: The fun and feminist new novel by Katherine Pollock

For some, working in a record store is a dream job, like it was for writer Katherine Pollock. But sometimes dreams are not what they are cracked up to be.

Loosely based on her own experience of working in Brisbane and Sydney indie record stores, Katherine has penned Her Fidelity, a look at the music industry and all the things that come with it – misogyny, harassment and all the trimmings of that come with retail.

Taylah Strano caught up for with Katherine for Breakfast to find out more about protagonist Kathy from Dusty’s record store.
