How’s your head?
Lifeline WA‘s CEO Lorna MacGregor joined Breakfast with Taylah to discuss the organisation’s work in Western Australia and across the country with providing all Australians access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
Lifeline offers a range of services including counselling for grief, bereavement and families going through separation, educational courses for young people as well as different mental health and well-being trainings for corporates and the community.
Over the years, there has been a move towards people accessing these resources online or through tele-counselling. This is becoming much for prevalent in our lockdown world, going beyond convenience to it being necessary to provide support through online or tele-counselling text services.
Lorna and Taylah talk about Lifeline’s online counselling resources, their focus for this year and the Government’s new ‘Head to Health’ campaign.
