Human Rights Film Festival

Wednesday 29th May / presented by Daniel Cleary

In a digital age, it’s increasingly difficult to get away with murder.

Though death, despair and human rights violations are as commonplace around the world as they’ve ever been, they are now being documented and recorded like never before.

The Human Rights Arts and Film Festival returns to Perth next week, and will be bringing many of these stories to the big screen.

The Festival’s Director Ella McNeil spoke to RTR about the festival and the power of cinema to communicate truth.
