LIVE with Louis Cole

Tuesday 6th October / presented by Will Backler

LA's Louis Cole is an enigmatic musical machine, effortlessly fusing elements of jazz, funk, and pop into an addictive, unique package, as perfectly displayed by his "live sesh" videos, as well as the recently released Louis Cole Live 2019.

RTRFM's Music Director Will Backler jumped on the line with Cole to hear about his first forrays into music, his work with Genevieve Artadi as Knower (including being featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto), how he linked up with Thundercat and Flying Lotus, his passion for film, his thoughts on Clown Core and so much more.

Will started off asking Louis if music was an important part of his childhood...

All live musical performances are included in our podcasts with the express permission of artists, who reserve all other rights in their music. All music used in our podcasts is licensed under an APRA Community Broadcasting license agreement.
