Is Your Metadata Safe?

Tuesday 13th August / presented by Tom Reynolds

Australians using cellular or internet connected devices since 2015 have been at risk of having their metadata accessed by one of up to eighty government institutions.

Examples of agencies that have accessed metadata include local councils, Australia Post, the National Measurement Institute and the Clean Energy Regulator.

Deakin University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation Director Damien Manuel joined RTRFM to discuss this situation and potential solutions and protections.
