Jessica Gethin inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Danae Gibson is joined by new inductee to the WA Women’s Hall of Fame, Jessica Gethin.

The WA Women’s Hall of Fame was first established in 2011 in recognition of the Centenary of International Women’s Day held annually on 8th March. It’s purpose is to recognise and celebrate the achievements of Western Australian women past, present and future.

Perth born and trained, Jessica Gethin is an award-winning conductor who works globally across genres of symphonic, ballet, opera, and film score, Gethin is Principal Conductor of the West Australian Ballet and Head of Orchestral Studies and Conducting at the WA Academy of Performing Arts.
