Kate Pass: International Jazz Festival

Kate Pass, WA double bassist has brought together her extensive western jazz training along with her passion for Persian music to form Kate Pass Kohesia Ensemble who will be performing at the Perth International Jazz Festival this weekend.
Alongside other bands, Kate will also be performing with The Gemma Farrell Quintet as part of Sara McDonald’s (USA) 22-piece orchestra.
Kate was also nominated for a bunch of gongs such as Best Album, Best Jazz, Best World Act and Best Bassist at the recent WA Music Awards.
