Kissinger Kruz enjoying Cinnamon Buns

Wednesday 22nd January / presented by Jackson Hawdon Will Backler

Kissinger Kruz comprises of producer Nathan Tempra, "Henry Kissinger" and former Koi Child frontman, Shannon Cruz Patterson.

After releasing their debut single late last year, the duo are back with their new single Cinnamon Buns, a slice of catch hip-hop goodness, lyrically inspired by Patterson's job as a barista, as he was making cinnamon coffee. Musically, producer Henry Kissinger found himself "making whilst listening to a lot of music from Atlanta based label Awful Records and groups such as Divine Council", creating "clean piano chords moving into hard-hitting drums and 808's swim with the chorus".

Kissinger Kruz joined Jackson and Will on Out to Lunch to chat about their music creation process, treat us to some live tunes and discuss their new single and it's launch on Friday.

You can catch Kissinger Kruz as they release Cinnamon Buns at the Bird this Friday with Hyclass and Myriad Sun.
