Let’s Meet at LWAG: The Initiative Sparking Talk (and Joy) for those dealing with dementia

Let's Meet at LWAG is the new initiative put on by the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery - specifically for visitors who live with dementia and their carers or family member, with the intent of providing those with a forum for conversation through shared viewings and exploration of artworks on display – highlighting themes, artists, and artworks currently being exhibited at the gallery.

Audience Engagement Manager for the gallery, Caine Chennat, joined ARTBEAT host Bec Bowman to discuss this initiative; but more importantly how this idea came about, and how art can help alleviate the symptoms of dementia - or at the very least, help in improving the quality of life for those dealing with this illness...
