Live Music Spring Festival at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre – October 27-28

Perth Hills Live Musicians’ Association is a active not for profit association in the Perth Hills.

PHLMA aims to share amongst members expertise in all aspects of musical performance, to provide support to members to present live musical performances and to promote the performance of live music within the local Perth hills community.

Since the creation in 2021, PHLMA  has held over 25 live music events for the benefit of musicians and performers.

On the October 27-28, PHLMA will hold a Live Music Spring Festival at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre Historic Agricultural Hall.

The event will feature a diverse range of indie, blues, youth jazz, acoustic, orchestra, and choir performances along side running industry workshops. All the artists are generously giving their time and expertise free to the event and all proceeds will support live music in the hills.

The Festival will commence with four young emerging bands, Kalamunda Youth Swing Band Junior Band, Burnt Pearl, Lakefield Temple and Liquid Hearts.

Kevin Chennel and Michael Ward talk with Bec Bowman on Artbeat about the festival.
